Help & Getting Started
Use this guide to find the right page and understand what to do next. iFHL shows management controls only when your pool or team role allows them.
Start here
- Open Pools to see pools you already belong to and public pools you can explore.
- Select a pool to open its Overview. If the owner has not created a season yet, iFHL will show that setup is pending.
- Use the pool navigation to move between standings, players, teams, draft tools, trades, live scoring, activities, and Chirps.
- Select a team from Teams or from your Overview to reach that team's roster, planning, draft, trade, and management pages.
Want to run a new league? Use Create Pool on the Pools page when that option is available to your account.
New pool owners
A practical setup order
- Create the pool and choose its name, visibility, membership rules, and maximum number of teams.
- Create the first season. Confirm the season and draft basics first; the prefilled values are a reasonable starting point, while roster, salary, scoring, and penalty rules are advanced settings.
- Use Invitations in the pool navigation to invite the remaining participants. Closed pools do not accept new members, but their invitation history remains available.
- Create team shells when you need to assign managers yourself; otherwise eligible participants can create their own team. Use Members in the pool navigation (or Manage Pool → Members & Teams as the owner) to assign members and set team access.
- Review the Draft page and Draft Room before draft day. Confirm the team count, manager assignments, draft order, usable picks, start time, and timer behaviour.
- After the draft, use Overview for attention items and Standings, Players, Teams, and Live for the season.
Pool ownership and draft operation are separate responsibilities: the owner controls pool setup, while draft controls are available to authorized commissioners and owners.
New team managers
- Open your pool from My Pools, then select your team. The team menu appears beneath the pool header.
- Review the pool information and season rules so you know the roster limit, salary cap, scoring, and games-counted format.
- Use Manage Team to update the team name or logo and, when allowed, invite another manager.
- Before the draft, open Draft Planning to organize rankings and choices. The pool Draft page shows the complete order and pick history.
- Enter the Draft Room early. When your team is on the clock, make the selection from the player-planning area and watch the timer and room status.
- Afterward, use Roster for your players, Trades for proposals and history, and the pool Overview or Standings to follow results.
Draft day
Commissioner checklist
- Confirm the date, local start time, draft mode, and turn timeout.
- Confirm every team has the intended manager and draft position.
- Review total and usable picks; roster capacity can make scheduled picks unusable.
- Ask managers to enter early and prepare their rankings.
- Starting the draft puts the first usable pick on the clock. Pause the room if an issue needs attention.
Manager checklist
- Review your team's Draft Planning before the start.
- Enter the room early and confirm that your team is represented.
- Watch the current pick, room status, and timer.
- Use the player-planning area to make a pick when your team is on the clock.
- If you are uncertain about timeout behaviour, ask the commissioner before the draft starts.
